Deposit & cancellation
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- Deposits are not refundable, but can be transferred once to any other available trail date within 12 months of the original booking date, provided there's a legitimate reason. Each guest has one chance to change their date.
- The remaining 50% is due 15 days before the trip start date.
- Cancellation by the guest less than 30 days before departure forfeits the full trip fee.
- If we cancel the trip (weather, force majeure, operational reasons), we'll rebook you to the next available date at no extra cost.
Liability
- Guests participate at their own risk. The trail involves walking on uneven terrain, exposure to sun and sea, water activities, and remote-area travel.
- Comprehensive travel insurance with medical evacuation cover is mandatory. We'll need a copy of your policy before departure.
- Experience Santa Maria is not liable for loss, damage, injury or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — weather, border closures, vehicle breakdowns, third-party suppliers.
Health & fitness
- Guests must declare any medical conditions, allergies, or medications at the time of booking.
- By booking, you confirm that you're fit enough to walk the daily distances on uneven terrain for your chosen package.
- Pregnant guests and guests with serious medical conditions should consult us before booking.
Changes & substitutions
- The itinerary may be adjusted at the guide's discretion for safety, weather, tide conditions, or group ability.
- Accommodation listed is indicative — equivalent alternatives may be substituted if necessary.
Group size
- Trails run with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 12.
- If numbers fall below the minimum, we'll offer a transfer to the next available date.
Privacy
Guest data is used only to administer your booking. We don't sell or share it with third parties. Photographs and videos from your trip belong to you — we can share them across our channels with your permission.
